Download the zip file for your time zone, save it to a folder you can easily find and follow the easy installation steps below:
Eastern Time Zone (EST), Central Time Zone (CST), Mountain Time Zone (MST), Pacific Time Zone (PST), Central Europe Time Zone (CET), East Europe Time Zone (EET), India Time Zone (IST), Brazil Time Zone (BZT), and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

Using the Standalone Khaldea Calendar with PC, MAC, Android, Kindle and other devices

1. Download the Khaldea Calendar standalone file for your time zone

The standalone editions of the digital Khaldea Calendar consist of zip files delivered to you over the Internet. To download a copy, simply select the link above for your time zone. Download and save it to a folder or location on your computer, tablet or device.

2. Unzip the .zip file for your time zone

Before you can use the Calendar files, you'll need to unzip the downloaded file, which should have a name similar to: "kc2014***.zip", where "***" refers to your time zone acronym. If you are using a PC or MAC desktop or laptop, your machine probably has a unzip utility. Unzip the file now, go to step 3 below and follow the instructions for PC and MAC users.

If you wish to use the standalone edition on a Kindle, Android, tablet, or other device, there are two easy ways to load the Calender. If you have installed a zip app on your device, such as the free EasyUnrar app, simply email the zip file as an attachment, then open the email, download and save the zip file to your device — Kindle will automatically save the file to the "Documents" folder. Then simply go to the folder and unzip the file in the usual manner.

If you don't have a zip app installed on your Kindle or other device, download the Calendar zip file to a PC, MAC or Linux computer, unzip it and sideload the unzipped files to the device according to the easy instructions to the right for Kindle and Android installations.

3. Using the Standalone Calendar

PC, Windows, MAC and Linux Users.

After unzipping the downloaded file and saving the contents in a folder or location on your computer you can easily find, next go to the file directory where the unzipped files are located — probably in the "downloads" folder. You will notice two entries: a file named "kcal2014***.html" (where "***" refers to your time zone) and a folder similarly named, for instance: "kc2014***." It is important that you do not rename the file or the folder, or rename any of the files contained in the kc2014*** folder. If you wish to move the files to another directory or device, it is important to keep all filenames and the hierarchical relationship between the .html file and the timezone folder.

3. Open the main file

You are now ready to start using the standalone Khaldea Calendar. You can simply click on the kcal2014***.html file name or create a desktop shortcut for easy repeated use. Click on the filename or the desktop shortcut to bring up the Calendar's main page (left) in your web browser. From the main page you can select a desired month or view the annual lunation listing.

KINDLE & ANDROID Installations

Follow the steps below if you wish to sideload the Calendar files to your Kindle or Android device.

1. Connect your Kindle device to your computer:

Plug the larger end of a USB cable into an available USB port or a powered USB hub connected to your computer. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the micro-USB port on the bottom of your Kindle device. When connected to your computer, your Kindle device will go into USB drive mode and its battery will be recharged by the computer. Your wireless service is temporarily shut off and you will not receive any of your subscriptions while in this mode. Also, your Kindle device is not usable as a reading device while you are in USB drive mode, but will return right to where you were when you eject the Kindle device from your computer.

2. Transfer Files

Once connected to a computer using a USB cable, your Kindle device will appear in the same location as external USB drives usually appear. For Windows users, this is typically in the "Computer" or "My Computer" menu. For Mac users, the drive will appear on the desktop.

Open the Kindle drive. You will see several folders inside, one of which will be named "documents." This is the folder you will move the downloaded file(s) into.

Locate the unzipped downloaded file and folder and copy them into the documents folder. You can generally copy files by clicking and dragging the file to the folder. Safely eject your Kindle device from your computer and unplug the USB cable.

3. Open the main file

You are now ready to start using the standalone Khaldea Calendar. Using the Kindle or Android File Manager, go to the "Downloads" directory (or the location you sideloaded the files to). You should see the "kcal2014***.html" file and the "kc2014***" folder listed. Click or select and open the kcal2014***.html filename to bring up the Calendar's main page (left) in your web browser. From the main page you can select a desired month or view the annual lunation listing.
