DAY: 15 - 18.5
PHASE ARC: 180º - 225º
Keynote: Fulfillment and the promise of success and failure.
The light of the Full Moon reveals the measure of success and failure of the waxing hemicycle. Up to now, the expanding activities of the cycle have been directed toward the ultimate fulfillment of your Lunation Plan. During the first two weeks of the Lunation Cycle — while the Moon was waxing and increasing in light — it was natural that subjective, organic and self-willed activities took the forefront. Formulating a plan, pushing forward regardless of inner and outer obstacles, gradually building a framework, expanding ordered activity, and the development of inner skills and capacities, have all been geared toward success and fulfillment. Now culminates the cycle and in the light of the Full Moon both success and failure are revealed.
Success is always mixed with shortcomings and at least partial failure, and the future always offers opportunities to redeem failure, which is never absolute. Indeed, the cycle is but half complete, but the Full Moon exposes how well we have developed the mundane, organic and creative platform upon which success may be attained, and shortcomings and inadequacies now become evident.
Success and fulfillment — or their imminence — now may seem not enough. One thirsts for something more and one's work, plans, activities and endeavors are now being seen and judged from a broader perspective. As the waning hemicycle advances, and the light of the Moon decreases, more and more attention and concern will be placed on the meaning and purpose of your activities, and upon your relations with others.
Partnership, commerce and working with others now require attention. Others are drawn into the plan, and the
quality of one's relatedness and participation is tested. Even if your Lunation Plan concerns inner work or issues of self-improvement, you will need to place your goal within a larger context which embraces meaning and relatedness.
If the Full Moon reveals more failure than success, now is the time to re-examine your plan, to re-strategize and re-organize, perhaps on a reduced, less ambitious scale.
